OCD-RP Azgalea- setting

Azgalea is a world of many landscapes, from fertile forests to dry deserts. Most of the activity takes place in the capitol of Azuran, a bustling city-village that draws creatures of all kinds, bad or good, rich or poor. Many have found their wealth in the city, while others have found their ruin.

The city is built in a style resembling both Victorian and medieval England. Some houses are run-down with thatched roofs, while others are entirely of stone, tall and gilded with ornate metal and carvings. The streets are of smooth cobblestone in the nicer districts, but of gravel and dirt in the less-appealing neighborhoods.

The shops are as varied as the people. You can find everything from a simple grocery market to a mysterious magick shop. Blood bars are fairly popular, owing to the fairly high concentration of vampires and dhampirs, and you may even find some bars that cater to any sort of creature to walk through the door. Whatever service you desire, you are sure to find it within the walls of Azuran.

At the northernmost section of the city is the castle, home to the ruler of the city and the continent, Xavion. He is a vampire, hundreds of years old(albeit young by typical standards), though not any less cunning and powerful for it. He isn't particularly liked, though not hated either. He keeps the continent in a relative peace from his throne. His army is feared by the people, not for their brutality so much as their strange ease in defeating their enemies. Rumors have been started of their abilities, though what is true and what isn't is anyone's guess.
